Laser Hair Removal — Unwanted hair is gone forever!

Treatable Concerns: Unwanted Hair, Ingrown Hairs, & Acne

Permanently remove unwanted hair from anywhere you have growth! This treatment leaves you with a smooth, healthy surface, free from ingrown or “strawberry skin.” Laser hair removal can even help with acne! Each hair follicle has an oil gland attached to it. When the growth gets removed, dead skin cells, bacteria, and sebum no longer clog pores leaving you with fewer breakouts.

How Does It Work?

The laser is attracted to the pigment in the hair (treatment is not effective on blonde, red, grey, or white hair), which draws the energy deep into the follicle, where it gets permanently destroyed. Once all your growth cycles get killed, you will no longer have hair.

What Does It Feel Like?

Certain areas are easier than others. Flash Lab uses the Cenadela GMax Pro which is the only laser to numb the area with a cooling blast of cryogen before each pulse making for the most comfortable treatments possible. However, there is still the sensation of a warm rubber snap which is more noticeable in some places than others.

How Often Should I Have This Treatment?

In the beginning sessions should be repeated every 4-6 weeks with a total of at least 6 sessions required to see 85-95% permanent hair removal. Because many clients do require maintenance in the months or years following their initial 6 sessions, Flash Lab offers 6 complimentary touch up sessions with our regularly priced packages to be used whenever necessary.

How Should I Prepare for My Treatment?

Clients must avoid significant sun exposure for at least two weeks prior to treatment. In some cases, this period needs to be longer for clients who hold onto a tan. Fake tanners need to be completely exfoliated. Clients cannot be on antibiotics for 10 days leading up to their service. No waxing or depilatory creams for four weeks prior to treatment. Please shave the area to be treated as thoroughly as possible the day before.
