What does laser hair removal feel like?

Laser Hair Removal has been known to be uncomfortable in the past however thanks to Candela’s unique and patented cooling system, which provides a soothing burst of cryogen milliseconds before each pulse, this treatment is more manageable than ever. If you’re used to waxing or plucking, laser hair removal will be a breeze.

Does the VI Peel have any downtime?

Clients who choose the VI Peel will be required to continue the process for two days with a simple at-home care kit. Peeling usually begins about 48 hours after your initial appointment and can last up to six days, during which exposure to the sun should be limited. You may feel itchy and tempted to remove the shedding skin. This is strongly discouraged as scarring can occur. Small scissors may be used to trim away shedding skin but we advise clients to plan accordingly for this treatment if work or regular activities will not allow for the peeling process.

Is the VI Peel safe?

When performed by qualified professionals, the VI Peel is a safe and simple, non-invasive procedure that is tried and true when it comes to client comfort and satisfaction. At Flash Lab, we only employ licensed estheticians who have manufacturer certifications in all of our services and regularly attend continuing education seminars to keep up to date on the latest techniques and safety regulations.
